A member from German forum Se-world has pointed out that at least one of the demo photos shown by SonyEricsson Germany for their upcoming Cybershot K850i phone is actually not taken by the phone itself.
If you check the EXIF data, it would suggest that this picture (here) was not taken by the device concerned, but a Sanyo S50 digital camera. Whereas the 3 photos along side have incomplete EXIF tags.
This could be a terrible mistake (hopefully), or a blatant scandal, let’s see how the company responds on Monday if they would. At this juncture we do not want to label one of our favorite companies just yet. From our experience with K850i, we do not see the need of a substitute as the device itself can already take very decent photos. — Sam Chan
