Best Buy Employee Leaks iPhone 5 Release Date

Though the internet has been literally saturated with iPhone 5 rumors, we finally found one that actually might have some merit. Apparently, a Best Buy employee has leaked information that hints at an official release date for the iPhone 5.

The leak comes in the form of a memo to a Best Buy location, informing them that a mysterious “Apple Fixture” will be installed in their store on Friday, October 21st. This is even more intriguing because the memo asks that a manager be present on-site at 6am (managers usually arrive at 7am to do inventory). A similar arrangement was apparently used for the iPhone 4 release date.

Most tech sites have already speculated about an October release date for the iPhone 5, so this rumor could actually be true.
