At a recent convention in Las Vegas, Gamestop has announced that they will now be selling iOS devices in their retail locations. This includes iPhones, iPads and iPods.
Of course, you’ll be able to trade in your used iPads, iPhones and iPods for store credit. Gamestop has actually already begun the trade-in program, which means they’re probably going to build up a stock of used iOS devices before they begin selling.
I wonder if they will begin offering new iOS devices starting when the iPhone 5 is rumored to launch in October?
Given that Gamestop only gives you around $0.75 for certain game titles, it’ll be really interesting to see how they “value” the used iOS devices that customers decide to trade in.
