If you’re like most people, you spent at least a few hours per day on the computer. Many of us even use our computers for most of the workday. How would you like it if your computer mouse could tell you how stressed you are throughout the day?
The technology behind this device add-on is actually pretty interesting. Apparently, a correlation exists between your cardiac rhythm and the amount of stress hormones in your body. The mouse bounces infrared light off of your fingers, measuring your bloodflow and heartbeat.
Potentially, this technology could be used by companies to measure the stress level of their employees — which would hopefully lead to improvements in working conditions.
