Do you have trouble sleeping? Can you sleep with a sleep mask on? Then the “Zizz” could be just what you’re looking for.
The Zizz is an artificially intelligent sleep mask that is designed to improve your sleeping experience. Created by a Warsaw-based startup called IQ Intelclinic, the Zizz utilizes sensors to monitor the sleep cycles of the wearer. Information collected by the sleep mask is then synced to a mobile app which allows the wearer to take note of their sleep patterns over the previous night. IQ Intelclinic believes that the data collected by the mobile app will help wearers to determine potential sleep issues such as apnea or waking behavior during the night.
One of the most beneficial features of the new sleep mask is similar to many of the sleep monitoring products on the market currently in that it allows users to wake to an alarm that sounds only at the most opportune time during the sleep cycle.
The Zizz will sell for $225 and is about to be launched on Kickstarter in order to raise funds to create a version of the device that does not rely on battery power. Users that sign up via Kickstarter to support the product will be able to purchase it for just $180. We’ll be keeping our eyes on the Kickstarter project website!
