The concept behind Kickstarter is to allow everyday Joe’s to fund their business, tech and…well, just about anything, ideas through donations from anyone wishing to see their project come to life. Each donator gets something in return for their donation.
Today we’re taking a look at one of our favorite Kickstarter projects that has already been funded and will soon be brought to life!
Plug: the brain of your devices by The CGC team
The Plug device is designed to work as a brain for your electronics. This small device takes all of your electronic devices and makes them “one” so that no matter where you are, you can access your personal files. The Plug increases storage space by providing the exact same amount of storage (the amount of storage on your plug) to all of your devices – the benefit to this? It avoids using multiple accounts to store files and reduces the need for multiple cloud storage accounts to hold data.
The Plug has reached a high enough level of funding to ensure that it will be produced and the initial batch of these tools is expected to be released in December of 2013. The Plug will retail for $150.
