We already know unicorns exist. Where else would they be getting all of that unicorn meat from? And if it’s not unicorn, what the hell have I been eating? But despite their existence, those damn critters are completely elusive. Rarely, if ever, caught on camera and never captured for scientific study. Peter Hickey-Jones, a birdwatcher and Toronto native, captured this mystical beast as he was trying to film a Pileated Woodpecker.
Hickey-Jones brought the footage to the Ontario Science Centre to be analyzed by experts. The Science Centre is reviewing the footage frame-by-frame to determine whether Hickey-Jones claim is legitimate. With closer examination, Science Centre staff is hoping to establish whether or not a genuine unicorn sighting has occurred.
The Ontario Science Centre has also set-up an emergency unicorn sighting hotline, 416-696-3260, where you can report your sighting and listen to information about the Science Centre’s upcoming exhibit ‘Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaids’. Clever viral marketing scheme or valid fictional creature sighting, you decide. Hit the jump to see the video.
