Ever hoped to find an undiscovered Picasso at the flea market? Okay, so it’s not quite the same thing but one Craigslist shopper got his hands on an early release of Windows 8 OS when he picked up a new smartphone.
Windows Phone Central user xs2k picked up a new smartphone through Craigslist and soon discovered that the device featured Windows Phone 8 General Distribution Release 3 OS. The new OS has a mute feature for drivers which allows calls and texts to be muted while driving, the ability to close apps in multitasking view, the ability to rotate the screen, custom notification sounds, and more. According to rumors, the new OS will debut on the Lumia 1520 and an HTC, but details are still sketchy at the moment.
