Here’s a cool DIY tutorial on how to create your own on / off switch for small tools and appliances, even lights. To create the switch you’ll need an extension cord, an SPST pushbutton switch, 4x4x1.5″ electrical box, 4″ electrical box cover, 5/16″ flat washers, and a 3/8″ electrical box cable connector, along with a basic tool set.
