Most camera tripods are big, clunky objects that really are a pain in the anus to transport everywhere if you’re just a pleasure photographer, or a novice photog, which sounds more macho. Using something you probably have laying around the house anyway, a tennis ball, you can create your own mini-tripod for easy stability where ever you go.
This tennis ball tripod is only recommended for use with light cameras, so you don’t wanna go putting cameras on there with those 2 foot long lenses. This project is great because the inner material of a tennis ball is made of a rubber, which is great for stability and not scratching your gear. — Andrew Dobrow
