If you are a frequenter of Facebook then you will have noticed the constant prompts to “gift” someone something when it is their birthday or anniversary or…well, anything really.
The Facebook physical gifting program has only been around for about a year and apparently within that year the program has not been as successful as Facebook had hoped. Despite the fact that the program hasn’t been as successful as it was hoped, Facebook won’t be getting rid of it completely, rather they are replacing it with a digital redemption code option. Now you can be prompted to send digital redemption gift codes to everyone with a birthday. The “new” program will be put in to place within the next two weeks.
