Gracefully Powerful – The MailGrace Way

1

In the world today, there are many different email service providers one can go with. In fact, a lot of people choose to have multiple email accounts at the same time. For example, you could have a Gmail account for personal use, a Yahoo account for work, and a Hotmail account for other purposes. The possibilities are truly endless, and we need to find a way to make them work for us. The problem is that most of the time it is quite hard to keep track of the vast number of emails we receive from all the different accounts.

Low price, great features

On the hunt for a good way to consolidate all the email accounts into one giant filter, one service that was stumbled upon was MailGrace. Developed by a Canadian company, Globi Web Solutions, this is one of the few services on the internet that are worth trying out, as we found out when testing it out for the first time. Currently in their beta testing phase, the service is completely free for all visitors. Later on, the innovative email automation service will charge as low as $6 a month for access to the full range of features, all of which are currently available under the beta program.

Unique set of features

When tested, it performed beyond expectations. Right off the bat, it worked with all email accounts we tested on it including Gmail, Yahoo!, and other IMAP accounts as well. This service provides cloud IMAP filters which have some of the most powerful options out there. We soon found out that our address list within the program could be sorted into two unique default mailing lists: the whitelist and the blacklist. MailGrace automatically moves any email from the whitelist that lands in the Junk folder back into the inbox without any intervention on our part.

The blacklist, on the other hand, meant that whoever sent an email from an address on this list would automatically be moved to the Trash folder by MailGrace, again with zero user intervention. In addition to this, multiple lists can be created with different, fully customizable settings for perfect automation of all email content mailed into whichever accounts are created. One prime example is the “Later” list. Emails sent from addresses on this list are automatically moved into the “Later” folder so that they can be read at leisure.

Filters galore

One cool thing we noticed about MailGrace is that it had added support for conditional forwarding. This is something lacking in most major email service providers like Gmail. However, MailGrace has the ability to sort emails out by sender, cc, and many other options. The filters aren’t just set after the emails have arrived in your inbox either. MailGrace can be set to learn certain filters beforehand. This means that whitelist and blacklist rules can be set down without even having a certain address in your inbox.

For example, if we were to move an email in our inbox to the blacklist, all future emails from the sender would also be sent to the blacklist automatically. In addition to this, MailGrace allows for forwarding of emails to external accounts and the remote sending of email content to other services without having to enter the addresses in manually.

As email clients go, MailGrace is definitely one we would pick because of its usability, power, and simplicity, as well as the support it gives for multiple accounts, filters and devices.
