Based on recent shipment figures is it possible that Apple has hit a wall in the smartphone market?
Current data from second quarter sales figures for Apple indicate a three year low in marketshare of the smartphone market. There is no doubt that smartphones continue to dominate the market but looking at current figures Samsung has taken the lead in the number of smartphone units shipped out during the second quarter. Does this mean that Apple has hit a wall? There really is no telling, but it certainly is obvious that the drop in the price point of the Samsung smartphones seems to play a significant role in terms of sales figures in the smartphone market.
