HP “Always Connected” concept designs: An in-depth look into the future

Recently at an event at Mumbai, HP announced and showcased some of their “Always Connected” design concepts. With “Always Connected”, HP shows us what the future might hold from them and what they might have to offer by the year 2012. Here is an in-depth view at some of HP’s concept and the products that go with it.

The Smart Shelf charges any devices you place on its surface and displays the information of the device.

The Wireless Gateway Watch acts as the nerve center of the whole experience. With all of your device information displayed on the watches screen.

The Digital Wallet is a completely next-gen marvel of technology. No need for your wallet to be lined with layers of cards when you can have everything you need built into one complete gadget. View the transactions in real time.

The future of the Tablet will be ultra-slim due to its lack of local stoarge. All the juicy software and media will be saved remotely and transmitted wirelessly.

Laptops will have touchscreen keyboards that will have an adaptable UI (much like the iPhone) that change when appropriate for software.

A Media Mat will be available to display the information you need anywhere you want, while usable with a wider array of surfaces. To trasnport, just fold and go.

The digital pen, which is already used, will develop to be an independantly working gadget. No more needing the companionship of a sister software or computer device. All information is kept in the pen itself and can be viewed on any device for easy note taking.
