HTC has announced a trio of new devices for the upcoming fourth quarter. The HTC Shift, HTC S730, and HTC P6500 are three new smartphone models, tailor made for different sorts of users. Info and pics of the devices after the jump.
HTC Shift: (pictured above) Combining the use of Windows Vista and 3G / HSDPA technology, the Shift offers some really great functionality in a cool and slick package. The Shift is the first device to feature HTC’s SnapVUE technology, which will allow for e-mail, calendar, text messages and contact info to be displayed without having to fully power the device, which is great for battery conservation. The Shift will also feature a 7″ touchscreen with tilt technology.
HTC S730: An upgraded version of the successful P710 model, except this time around, you get 3G / HSDPA capabilities and a 400 MHz processor for lightning speed. Its compact design will feature an auto-slide QWERTY keypad and will run off of Windows Mobile 6. Packed with 256MB of flash memory.
HTC P6500: A 3.5″ screen and 3 megapixel camera make this device great for multimedia as well as versatile enterprises. The standard model comes with 256MB of flash memory, though this can be buffed to have 1GB plus 2 SD card slots. Like the other new models, the P6500 will offer 3G connectivity, but also adds in a cool GPS capability.
