Car stereo systems often have difficulty retaining a clean bass sound in such a confined space. The Kenwood KSC-SW10 active subwoofers retain much of the bass that is virtually destroyed by most systems and it does it relatively cost effective. The sub packs in a 150W max power amplifier with a dual voice coil 180mm concave subwoofer and passive radiator.
The technology used in passive radiators produces a impressive amount of bass for such a small and compact amp. The KSC-SW10 is compatible with most audio systems since it sports both a RCA line level or speaker level hookup. The 35~120Hz subwoofer also comes with a remote and velcro straps to place where ever you want within the confines of your automobile paradise, while measuring only 369 224 94mm. The KSC-SW10 will be available in mid-May in Japan for around $185. — Andrew Dobrow
