You’d figure that if LEGO released a Wii Remote they’d do it right and let you build the whole thing from scratch. But seeing as there are small kids and even smaller geriatrics who regularly use the Wii, LEGO saw that it was more fitting to introduce a branded Wiimote with a little less need for technical know-how.
So we can’t build our own LEGO Wiimotes, we’ll deal with it. Instead, we get a few slots made for customizing your own color patterns with multi-colored LEGO bricks. Available later this week at $40 a pop, it’s a welcome alternative to the generic white or black offered by Nintendo and certainly a must for the avid LEGO hunter.
