LG has become a monster of the mobile industry. They have new product launch announcements nearly twice a week it seems. The LG-SV260, just released in Korea, is said to be a “premium folder” of tools and features for businessmen.
‘Motiquette’, short for mobile etiquette, keeps callers informed of when they are calling you during a meeting or appointment through SMS messaging. Motiquette is kind of like a mobile secretary. The LG-SV260 actually acts like an all-in-one secretary.
“Voice note” records portions of meetings for later playback. “Voice secretary” reads both text messages, and your daily events on your calendar aloud to you. A special magnifying feature allows daily agendas and texts to be blown up to aide the elderly in reading the usual small print of the mobile.
Other features added to the SV260 include 1.3 MP camera, mp3 capabilities, an electronic dictionary with built in pronunciation aide, among other standards.
The design is pretty thin, but way to long for our taste. Displayed in the little asian models hand is looks like some 1980’s concept of what cellular phones would look like. But for the features included, the weird design could be worth it.
