If you have been looking for a new pair of headphones and want to make a difference when you finally break down and make that purchase, check out LSTN headphones.
LSTN headphones are made from reclaimed wood making them fashionable, but more importantly, every purchase of a pair of their headphones results in a contribution to The Starkey Hearing Foundation. The foundation itself is dedicated to providing 100,000 hearing aids to individuals around the world who require them to be able to hear. Bridget Hilton, founder of LSTN headphones cited Tom’s Shoes as her inspiration behind the idea.
There are currently two models of LSTN headphones available through their website, the chrome Troubadours and the folding Fillmores and prices range from $50 to $150 depending upon your selection. Unfortunately, however, Hilton, nor her company, have disclosed the percentage of their income that is donated to the charity. This seems insignificant however, when you consider that the company is dedicated to making a difference.
