Think of the possibilities! Think of all of the wonderful feats we could accomplish, only if rats could read each other’s minds! Think of all of the lost crumbs of cheese we could recover with all of the world’s rats working in tandem!
Researchers at Duke University have developed a brain-to-brain interface which allows rats to communicate using only their minds. Using tiny brain-implanted electrodes, the decisions of one rat on one side of the world can effect the behavior of a different rat on the other side of the world.
While rats communicating through special brain powers might not seem like the most practical scientific achievement, the ramifications of such an experiment could alter society as we know it if a similar technology was ever instituted in humans.
