The Ministry of Sound does very well with their enormous number of compilation club/house/techno music cds they put out what seems like every week. Apparently, they are trying to step into the portable media player market, and with the MOSMP100X10, they have just fallen flat on their faces.
To start with what is probably the only good feature, it has a 3.5″ TFT display with a resolution of 320×240. Now for the very strange jumble of features that just don’t fit. It has line-in recording capabilities and supports MP3, WMA DRM, ASF, and MPEG4. Line-in recording can be nice, but why not have an internal microphone? Users don’t want to carry an external mic everywhere they go. To add to the problems, it has “limitless” storage by way of SD cards. It only gets 6 hours of audio playback time, and it costs $292.The Ministry of Sound isn’t really known for their cheap prices, but $300 for no internal storage?! –Nik Gomez
