Joseph Holtman and Peter Crooks at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky have taken the initiative by working on a practical application further proving marijuana’s potential as a powerful medicine.
They’ve come up with a profound solution to decreasing morphine doses thus reducing risk of dependency and addiction. Their solution: put some weed in it. It turns out that the psychoactive drug in marijuana, THC, enhances the painkilling effects of opioids such as morphine. This is good news for those in pain for any number of reasons or hemp necklace wearing stoners who smoke the peace pipe.

It does work! However, the amount of weed smoked needs to be the size of a ladies fingernail for it to work without getting the super high feeling and thus coming down feeling. If you have an anxiety disorder I suggest having someone talk you through the experience otherwise you could possibly have a panic attack. You obviously don’t want to ruin the high just because you feel like you might have some kind of reaction that you don’t really have. It produces insane happiness, laughter, and a calming mellowness that a chronic pain patient otherwise wouldn’t experience due to being in pain, pain that morphine alone won’t cure completely. This makes you not feel the pain at all! Atleast for while you are high, and even a little after the coming down wears off! All together I’d say that is a good six to eight hours of no pain, a lot better than having to deal with it everyday of the rest of your life! Enjoy, and don’t operate any vehicles or lawnmowers while high. lol
no i disagree.. when you smoke pot the high last for no more than 4 to 5 hours. i am a regular user. also However, the amount of weed smoked needs to be the size of a ladies fingernail for it to work without getting the super high feeling and thus coming down feeling??? thats not true!!! it depends on what type of pot you smoke. there is different types of pot… some is stronger with a better high and some just sucks, shake is the bottom of the bag and that shit sucks you would have to smoke a hell of alot more to get as high as a fully developed/matured bud would.

I agree with the college boys but if you are high when u take the pill or get high during the process of the pill kicking in , it will affect your morphine high resulting in a mainly thc high. if u let the pill peak then smoke, it will feel like the morphine high, only greatly intensified
