It’s about time.
The Netflix App that’s available forAndroidhas finally been updated. This update allows the app to run on all devices that are running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Thankfully, Netflix has been keeping us happy with regular updates to their mobile app for support on Android devices.
This is interesting, since Netflix has been getting a lot of bad press recently from consumers, mostly from their decision to raise their rental rates.
Though the update doesn’t seem to yet work on all phones (such as the LG Thrill 4G), most people seem to report that Netflix is now working on their Froyo or Gingerbread phone.
With Netflix already on the 3DS (and soon to be streaming 3D movies), it’ll be interesting to see where the company decides to go next.
