Netflix promised their iPhone and iPod Touch apps would be released this summer, and here they are. Netflix officially launched their Netflix for iPhone and iPod Touch apps today into the App Store. Netflix subscribers can use this app to stream your Instant Watch movies and TV shows right from your devices.
I checked out the iPhone version of the app by queueing up an episode of Law & Order: SVU and the quality was superb, even on the tiny screen of the iPhone and the stream took literally seconds to launch. The screen size did make me squint after extended veiwing, but it was an altogether phenomenal experience. I’m pretty sure we’re living in the future.
