Readers unite, the newest Kindle Fire is set to be released this coming fall! While most of us would much rather hold a real book in our hands, there is definitely something to be said for the convenience of an eReader like the Kindle Fire.
According to Boy Genius Report, the newer Kindle Fire gadgets will nearly triple the speed of the current Kindle Fire lineup.
We’re pretty excited about the new lineup of three Kindle Fire tablets, all of which are lighter weight than their predecessors and which could hit the market as early as September this year.
The new 7″ Kindle Fire is rumored to have a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel display and will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
The new 7″ Kindle Fire HD is rumored to have the same pixel display, run Android 4.2.2 (Amazon’s version), have 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of built in storage and come with 2 GB of memory. Additionally, this Kindle Fire will feature a front facing camera, the option of cell access and Wi-Fi.
The new 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD will feature a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip. This larger Kindle Fire will also feature 2 GB RAM, 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of built in storage and the option of cell access. Finally, this larger model will also feature front and rear facing cameras.
