Olympus Reveals LS-100 Linear PCM Digital Recorder

This week, Olympus has unveiled one of the best-looking digital recorders we’ve seen in a long time.

The Olympus LS-100 Linear PCM digital recorder features two 90 degree directional stereo condenser microphones, with the ability to capture an incredibly wide range of frequencies. It also includes XLR inputs, which give you the ability to connect line-output sources through the RCA jack. Right now, Olypmus is unofficially calling this recorder “The Musician’s Toolbox”.

Given these high-tech features, this gadget looks to be more targeted towards recording professionals than the average consumer. You can check out the LS-100 over on the Olympus website, where it’s currently selling for the retail price of $399.99.
