If you are a frequenter of Facebook then you will have noticed the constant prompts to "gift" someone something when it is their birthday or anniversary or...well, anything really. The Facebook physical gifting program has only been around for about a year and apparently within that year the program has not been as successful as Facebook had hoped.

Today, Microsoft made the announcement that within the next year, Steve Ballmer (who has been with Microsoft since 1980, and has been CEO since 2000,) will retire. Ballmer is staying on board for the next twelve months so that a team of Microsoft representatives (including Bill Gates) can find an appropriate replacement for the position of CEO.

3Doodler made news with their 3D printing pen technology but now they're facing a little competition with the SwissPen 3D. While the SwissPen 3D isn't on the market at the moment, they are already putting up some good competition for the 3Doodler.
