Spotted using Google Street View, apparently after saving the princess Mario and Luigi retired from the plumbing biz, sick and tired of crawling through pipes no doubt, and decided to open their own restaurants. Mario’s is a bakery and Luigi’s serves pizza, kebobs and burgers. So if you think about it, they aren’t even really competing. They’re pretty complimentary of each other. I guess having wardrobe security helps you have the�confidence�for a major career change.
And yes, Mario’s sign is totally red and Luigi’s is green and slightly taller. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes I wouldn’t believe this spot in Manchester, UK existed. And to think they had to muscle their way into the�restaurant�business. I shudder to think of the number of taxi drivers injured in the process.
