Rollei retro camera takes a 1920’s take on digital photography

The Rolleiflex MiniDigi could be the twin of the original 1920’s German-made Rollei “Twin Lens Reflex” camera, except for the fact that it is a fraction of the size and completely digitalized. This 3.1 MP reproduction is a blast from the past. A past in which most of us weren’t alive to see.

Even though the camera can take videos and handle SD cards, the Rolleiflex still utilizes the old time top-down viewfinder, with a hand crank which shuffles through the images. Available for $200. — Andrew Dobrow
