Scope out where your outlets are. If your dream desk spot doesn’t line up with the plugs, get creative with surge protectors, cord organizers, and possibly a few extension cords.

Unpack and sort your tech

This is where foresight really saves you headaches. Hopefully, you packed your gadgets with care, maybe even using portable storage containers for rent to keep things organized during the move. Prioritize core gear such as a laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and anything else you use daily. Check for damage, as moving can be rough. Give everything a quick once-over before plugging it in. new space, new start, so update firmware, charge devices, and install anything you’ve been putting off.
