Pareidolia is defined as the temptation to find patterns in random data. It looks like at least a few people have a serious case of pareidolia, since they're predicting that the world will end -- just because it'll be 11/11/11 tomorrow.

An asteroid that will be passing by us next week, dubbed YU55, will come closer to Earth than the moon's orbit. However, according to NASA, there's no reason to panic.

Remember comet Elenin, which some internet bloggers claimed was a sign of the coming apocalypse? Well, the tiny 1.2 mile rock has apparently disintegrated, and won't be seen again for a long, long time.
