The human speaker neck brace / collar isn’t going to make news as any fashion statement, but it is making news as a pretty strange, yet awesome development in the music world.
The speaker collar, created by Nic Wallenburg uses the wearer’s mouth and lips to amplify and control sounds much like a speaker. Currently, the collar can only produce two notes at any given time so high fidelity sound is out of the question for now.
The human speaker neck brace bypasses the human vocal cords and reproduces the wearer’s voice. There are a number of possibilities for a group of multiple wearers however, plus the potential for product growth.
