Virgin Galactic Allows Passengers Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in Space

Getting excited about Virgin Galactic? Well, a new piece of news just came out — Virgin will potentially be allowing its passengers — sorry, �”suborbinauts” to tweet, post on Instagram, and even access Facebook while out in space.

This is, of course, if you can afford the $200,000 ticket for a mere few minutes of space-time.

The commercialization of “space flight” is certainly not a new idea. Frankly, I’m surprised that Virgin Galactic is the first notable attempt at actually publicizing the fact that — yes, people will pay to fly into space.

Virgin’s craft is called “SpaceShipTwo”, and has the ability to fly up to six passengers in its 12ft by 7.5ft cabin.
